Hey Brewer

I don’t know why or how but I came across the San Jose v. Dallas Game 6 about mid way through the 3rd period tied at 1. As I type this it is intermission…after the 3rd OT. I can’t express how little I care about this game. Yet I’m committed and I can’t not watch this through to the end now. It’s like holding onto those top two pair when there is a flush on the board. You know you are beat but you hold on just because you are pot committed and can’t let it go.

The San Jose keeper, apparently named Evgeni Nabokov, made one of the best saves I’ve ever seen in OT 1. Or 2. I don’t fuckin know…2 hours ago. All I know is that the hated Rangers were eliminated from the playoffs and by the time this game ends they will be half way through their training camp of failure for next season.

Apparently there is a hockey team in Florida called the Panthers. Because when I think of the frozen pond the first state that comes to mind is Florida and the first animal is a large cat that lives in swamps and trees. According to wikipedia Florida Panthers are part of the cougar family (rarrr sexy!). Anyway, some guy Richard Zednik almost died when his  teammate, and ex-BFF, attempted to remove his head with the blade of his skate.
