A full over full bunk bed is also known as a “full bunk bed”, or “full full bunk beds” (basically what this
means is that they have 2 mattresses, one on top of the other, and BOTH of the mattresses are “full” size, which is
just a tiny bit smaller than a queen size mattress/bed). These full size bunk beds are great for when you have
company over, since they are designed to hold 2 full size adults. However, they can be great for teenage kids too,
as they get bigger, and out grow the twin size beds. You should note that many of the full over full bunk
beds do not come with any mattresses though, so be ready to dish out a good deal more money when it comes
time to buy 2 full size mattresses for the full over full bunk bed.
As far as space goes, these types of bunk beds are pretty efficient, but do not provide quite as much storage as
some of the single bunk beds with trundle and or computer desk. But those types of bunk beds generally only support
one mattress setups though, and they tend to be more expensive too. Perhaps this is why the full over full bunk
beds are arguably the most popular type of bunk bed.
