Clayton Kershaw, Dodgers phenom, redefines the curveball
Clayton Kershaw is not even 20 years old, but he possesses what Vin Scully calls “Public Enemy #1.” What is it exactly? His curveball:
Seriously? How do you hit that? I have not been that impressed by a pitch since the first time I saw Trevor Hoffman unleash his changeup in person.

Wicked, wicked stuff. I’m not sure if Kershaw was bringing that level of mess prior, but this spring’s side sessions with Koufax can’t be hurting.
Also impressive is the fact that Sean Casey’s shoulders have the ability to offer a timely and cordial, “Hi, buddy!”
Thanks, Vinny.
