According to Yahoo and other sources Barry Bonds’ testimony to the grand jury in 2003 will be released to the public.

I would say this is big news but, is it really? Hasn’t half this been leaked already? Does anyone expect any shocking revelations other than denials in the face of evidence? Bonds, fairly or not, is the poster boy for the steroids era and I cannot imagine a realistic scenario where he will be associated with anything but HGH, steroids, and cheating.

Personally I find the Clemens story to be infinitely more entertaining. By all reports Bonds has basically been a prick since high school. He was a prima donna at ASU and his professional career has been no different. Clemens was beloved by the rubes in Houston and the Boston and NY Yankee fans who are often accused of being ’smart baseball fans’ though evidence of this remains elusive. Clemens’ staunch denials in Congress and subsequent possible investigation by the DOJ makes testimony from 5 years ago seem a bit dull.
